Worldwide group meditation
Join us for our free weekly worldwide group meditation. Join us in person if you are in Fredonia or via the Internet from any location in the world.
Each other (alternating) week we either conduct a meditation class for beginners or engage in a special group meditation process for advanced practitioners. Even though the class is more for beginners and the group process is more for advanced students, feel free -- in fact, you are welcome -- to join either event.
Meditation class for beginners: we start with an introduction, meditation instruction, and question/answers about practice of meditation. We then practice the meditation technique for 20-30 minutes. After the practice, Dr. Anatole usually gives a talk followed by a short discussion and opportunity for questions and comments. This class is intended for beginners.
Group meditation process: We engage a special process called Dharma Chakra or the Circle of Eternal Truth. The process substantially intensifies meditative energy generated by individual practitioners and significantly increases effectiveness of meditation as compared to meditating alone. We open with chanting a fifteen thousand year old mantra to invoke the group spirit, meditate for 30 minutes, and end with a sacred color offering ceremony using a mantra from the Guru Gita. Dr. Anatole usually gives a talk followed by a short discussion and opportunity for questions and comments. This event is mostly intended for initiated disciples of Dr. Anatole. Everyone is welcome, however.
Feel free to bring your own cushion. There are cushions and chairs available if sitting on the carpeted floor is uncomfortable.
Occasionally we have celebrations with potluck dinners. These are announced on our email list.
You will find a beginner meditation instruction here.
Sundays, 2:00 - 3:30 PM at Anatole’s.
